Tie One On

Scarves are a fun way to add pattern and colour to your wardrobe. They're also an easy solution if you don't feel like wearing your wig.

Choose cotton, cotton blend or rayon scarves; silk and polyester tend to slip. Whichever you choose, avoid wrapping your scarf too tightly on your sensitive scalp. Experiment by mixing and matching contrasting prints and colours – use a couple of scarves or add your favourite broach.

The Oblong Scarf:

· Drape scarf over head and let ends hang down evenly.

· Before knotting the scarf at the nape of your neck, tuck in excess fabric.

· Tie a double knot in back.

The Large Square:

· Fold the square diagonally.

· Position the folded edge on your hairline.

· Cross the tails at the back of your neck.

· Tie a double knot in back.

PROFESSIONAL TIP

“Wear a cotton turban under your scarf as it will create the illusion of hair and keep the scarf from slipping.”
